Backend Developer

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PHP and be proficient with CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our server-side applications, ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using latest version of PHP, CodeIgniter, and Laravel
- Design and implement database schemas and queries using MySQL
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the applications
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and ensure they meet current standards
- Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes using Git
Requirements:
- Proficient in PHP and experienced with CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks
- Strong understanding of MySQL and database management
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RESTful API development and integration
- Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and methodologies
- Understanding of security principles and best practices in web development
